Matrix unveils expanded strength range with elite sporting partnership events
Matrix Fitness launched 14 new Plate-Loaded machines at exclusive events hosted by partners BWT Alpine Formula One Team and Wigan Warriors.

Matrix Fitness has unveiled the latest additions to its Plate-Loaded strength portfolio through two exclusive launch events hosted by long-standing partners BWT Alpine Formula One Team and Wigan Warriors, bringing together customers, operators and industry leaders to experience the next generation of commercial strength equipment in elite performance environments.
The launches introduced 14 new Plate-Loaded machines, expanding the already successful Matrix strength range with equipment engineered to meet the growing demand for strength training across health clubs, performance centres, universities, boutique studios and professional sport. Together, they enable operators to build premium, performance-led strength spaces that cater for everyone from first-time lifters to elite athletes.
Developed using athlete and operator feedback, the expanded range combines biomechanical precision, intuitive adjustability and heavy-duty durability to meet growing demand for strength training covering every major movement pattern, from lower-body favourites such as the Pendulum Squat, Belt Squat, Standing Hip Thrust and Reclining Leg Extension, through to upper-body and back-focused pieces including the High Row, Low Row, Incline Lever Row, T-Bar Row and Elevated Biceps Curl.
Matthew Pengelly, Managing Director of Matrix Fitness UK, said: "Launching our latest Plate-Loaded machines with two world-class partners reflects exactly what Matrix stands for: performance, innovation and continual improvement. As demand for strength training continues to grow, these additions give operators even greater flexibility to create premium strength environments that help them stand out."
At BWT Alpine Formula One Team, guests enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, hands-on product demonstrations and Formula One simulator experiences. At Wigan Warriors, attendees experienced the new equipment in one of rugby league's leading high-performance training environments, reinforcing how the range supports both elite sport and commercial fitness facilities.
Kris Radlinski, CEO at Wigan Warriors added: "Strength and conditioning are fundamental to everything we do at Wigan Warriors, so it was a pleasure to host Matrix as they introduced the next evolution of their Plate-Loaded range. We've worked closely with Matrix for a number of years and have seen first-hand the quality, durability and performance of their equipment. We're proud to support a partner that continues to raise the standard for strength training."
A representative from BWT Alpine Formula One Team, added: "Our partnership with Matrix Fitness is built around a shared commitment to innovation, engineering excellence and performance. Hosting the launch of the expanded Plate-Loaded range at our technical headquarters was a natural extension of that relationship and gave guests a unique opportunity to experience how world-class performance environments inspire excellence, both in elite motorsport and commercial fitness."
By choosing two globally recognised sporting organisations to host the launch, Matrix demonstrated how the same equipment trusted within elite performance environments can help commercial fitness operators deliver exceptional training experiences for every member.
